Remember the rhetoric? "If you're not with us, you're against us." And otherwise fairly normal people who would have opposed such adventurism bowed to the pressure of being seen as "unpatriotic" and allowed themselves to be led into a mess. GWB called it, "a war on terror", as though Iraq were somehow complicit in the 9/11 attacks. Then he formed up his "Coalition of the Willing (to be coerced)". He named his "Axis of Evil". And it is long past time that I posted something over at Lone Wolf Chronicles.
