"I hope Neil Young will remember, a southern man don't need him around anyhow..."
What year is it, again?
The Reverend William Collier of the "Church of God's Chosen" (Christian Identity Ministries) doesn't understand why his flier for an "all white Christian" conference is getting so much negative attention. After all, he says, "The white race is God's chosen people."
Good to know, I guess.
Rev. Collier and conference keynote speaker Rev. Lewis...
Folks in the west Alabama town of Winfield awoke the other day to find fliers tacked up all over town advertising a three day conference for white Christians only, along with an event-ending "sacred Christian cross lighting ceremony"!
Boy howdy, lemme get my hood and robe and head on down for the show. Maybe, with any luck at all, we can toss in a good ol' fashioned lynchin' and do it up right.
Reverend Collier had this to say about the controversy:
"We don't have the facilities to accommodate other people. We haven't got any invitations to black, Muslim events. Of course we are not invited to Jewish events and stuff," Collier said.
Wonder why respectable churches and temples wouldn't want Mr. Collier and his hooded buddies at their services? It's discrimination, pure and simpleton.

Where in the Bible is the good reverend getting the bit about the white race being God's chosen people?
I'm thinking out loud here... The OT says that the people of Israel are God's chosen people.
The NT universalizes the covenant of the OT - making EVERYONE God's people.
But I suspect he didn't have to specify "whites only". I'm guessing everybody else in that town already knew to stay the heck away.
I was gonna have a conference for White Pagan Beer Drinkers that agree with me totally..... but too many folks signed up.
Okjimm, I was thnking of opening an adults only sunning club, just for Buddhist Nudists. Might have to fight through the anti-mosque crowd for a planning permit, though.
Yeah, they're the chosen people alright...chosen by themDumbassSelves.

Why is it that the white people who believe in white supremacy always look like a cross between stoner Neanderthals and extras from Deliverance? You'd think the Master Race would manage to at least look like Michael Fassbender or something. There's such a thing as upholding standards.
